As gamers move onto newer consoles the print runs become smaller for new releases. With the launch of Xbox One and PS4, the time for the really rare/collectible games is upon us.Īccording to our research, rare games are five times more likely to launch in the last two years of a console's life than they are during any other time. Rockman EXE N1 Battle is just really rare.Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 already have some rare and valuable games (see Xbox 360's | see PS3's). As far as I know it’s the third most valuable Wonderswan game behind Dicing Knight and Judgment Silversword (which are each tremendously more expensive, insanely high quality, and had very limited releases compared to any given Capcom game), but both of those games are more available on auction sites since they command such high prices. Granted the GBA version is legitimately just as good, so it mostly only has value at this point as a part of a Wonderswan collection. Even if it’s not the most valuable game I own, it’s the only one you can’t regularly find for sale at all. In terms of rarity it’s by far Rockman EXE N1 Battle. I have a lot of games in the $100+ range but I don’t want to be here all day! :p Phoenix Festa, the box for the GameCube Interactive Multi-Game Demo Disc 14 (tragically the disc is volume 11, which actually imo has a nicer spread of demos but whatever lol), Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Ar no Surge Vita collector’s edition, Xenosaga III, the Pokemon RS Eon Ticket, a sealed copy of Breach & Clear on Vita, a boxed copy of Demikids Light Version, Drakengard 3 collector’s edition, a boxed copy of Rockman EXE N1 Battle and Valkyrie Profile come to mind. Hmm… in terms of value I suppose I’d say Devil’s Third, a sealed copy of Pokémon Snap, the Asian English release of A.W.
